Mile Marker Mission 12000 Winch

We upgraded to a Mile Marker 1200lb synthetic rope winch. We have used their shackles and other recovery gear in the past and always been happy with the product. At the Jeeptoberfest event in Ocala Florida Mile Marker a local winch manufacture was on site. After discussing winches we chose to try one out. there warranty is great and customer service has always been good. one thing to change on installation in our opinion are the washers for mounting to the bumper. If you have round holes they will probably be fine but our bumper has slotted holes. The washers get pulled into the slot.

At our next club trail ride at Clear Springs Ranch we had a skills day. I was fortunate enough to test out the winch in a non emergency situation. We parked the jeep on a steep incline with most of the line out. Hooked to a big tree and had to winch to it. The winch performed great. It was smooth and pulled the Jeep easily.

Mile Marker winches are approved by the military and come with a good warranty. This is the kind of equipment we hope to never use, although it gives peace of mind knowing its ready to go.
